We built ALTCHEM because we were done watching women settle for skincare that looks good on the shelf but silently harms their health daily. We both worked in the beauty industry and saw firsthand how low the standards really were.(like to the floor low, and that’s being nice) Trendy brands were pushing formulas packed with hormone disruptors, fillers, and empty promises. Cute packaging on the outside, harmful on the inside. That is not just lacking effort, it’s a risk to women’s health.

Between the two of us, we’ve dealt with hormonal imbalances, PCOS, endometriosis, and serious depression. We’ve watched friends struggle with brain fog, chronic fatigue, fertility, and mental health, often made worse by the very products they trusted in their self care routines. The truth is, the industry could do better but willingly chooses not to. And quite honestly, that pissed us off.

So we decided to change that. ALTCHEM is skincare with actual integrity: efficacious, non-hormone disrupting, non-toxic, and ritual-inspired. We wanted you to have it all: formulas that actually deliver results, are clean and safe for your health, and look cute on your bathroom counter.
